New functionality developed to measure: this is the reservation queue, a function that will allow your employees to sign up for a pre-reservation of a parking space and be informed if they finally get that parking space or not. A function designed for companies where the parking supply is lower than the demand.

There are companies where some days the demand for parking is higher than other days and the supply of parking spaces is minimal and can lead to conflict between colleagues. To avoid this type of situation, we have added this new service in which employees can sign up to a pre-booking list for a specific day and if they get a parking space or not, they will be informed. Do you want to know how it works?

Imagine you want to make a reservation for next Thursday, but everything is booked for that day. You make a pre-booking and if someone finally cancels their booking and you are first in the queue, you would take that parking space. Hybo notifies you if your pre-booking is finally converted into a booking and if you don’t have any spaces, it also notifies you.

What are the advantages?

  • Optimisation of seat allocation: Allows for more efficient seat allocation in situations where supply is lower than demand. Maximises the use of available seats by allocating them to those employees at the top of the queue when a cancellation occurs.
  • Reduced conflict: By allowing employees to join the pre-booking queue, potential conflicts between co-workers over parking spaces are avoided. All employees have an equal opportunity to obtain a space if a cancellation occurs and the allocation is based on queue order, thus providing fairness in the process.
  • Increased flexibility and planning: Employees can pre-book, even if all parking spaces are currently occupied. In this way, they can plan ahead and have the possibility to obtain a seat in case of cancellations. They will be notified of the status of their pre-booking (whether it becomes a reservation or not), allowing employees to adapt their parking plans effectively.
  • Communication and transparency: provide employees with notifications and clear communication about the status of their pre-bookings. Whether or not they are allocated a space, employees will be informed. This transparency helps to avoid confusion and gives employees a clear understanding of the situation.
